Against all better judgment, my parentals have decided to do a joint vacation with anal neighbors who must, because they're boring, plan every single moment of their vacation before doing it. Their motto: there is a time and place for spontaneity. Which of course, defeats the whole point of spontaneity but whatever, right?
Initially I was supposed to stay at the house and watch it since I wanted nothing to do with beaching and boardwalks and all that nonsense, but as predicted, the adults are beginning to clash on ideas and I'm being forced to tag along to be my father's punching bag (not far from the truth, either).
So, I shall be at Seaside, NJ (ugh I hate New Jersey) from the 24th to the following Saturday (31st). The house they have rented for this god-forsaken trip, does not have wireless so I shall be scarce, though not by choice. My mother has this nifty satellite inter web thing for her job, which I shall try to steal while she is not looking...but my efforts might only cause me pain. So we'll see.
Hyas (that's me!) was not made for the beach; especially not a beach that has recently had a myriad of shark sightings (due to the oil spill, they're guessing). If I doesn't come back, it's probably because I was eaten. No joke. Sigh. So that's all I can think of telling you. I'm kinda sad.
I know, I know, I took so long to get the skin up, my character isn't even created yet and I'm already disappearing >.< But I love you guys!
