Takers are slaves to humans. They look just like humans except they have pure white skin and red eyes. They are the muscle of the human world. They have no brains practically and are completely controlled by the humans and will do anything for their master. They guard the werewolves sin the Coliseum and often are the "pawns" in the battles with the free werewolves (if it were a chess game).
